March 2022 – Preparations for the new strawberry trial with pcfruit have already been made…
June 2021 – In collaboration with pcfruit, the BASTA team organised a demonstration of the ongoing strawberry trial with alternative growing substrates with or without biochar.

November 2020 – BASTA’s third evenent was hosted online with its focus on screening and using biochar during processes (collab. OWS) and in strawberry cultivation in growing media (collab. pcfruit).
February 2020 – BASTA’s second event was hosted at GreenVille and MEAM.
November 2019 – BASTA was present at the ManuResource conference at PXL presenting its first results in an oral and poster presentation, BASTA’s researchers also led a round table discussion on biochar.
